Business transaction between Finn Special Steel Oy and Miilux Oy:
Finn Special Steel Oy and Miilux Oy have agreed on asset deal where cutting business of Finn Special Steel Oy will move to Miilux Oy from 1 April 2018. At the same time the ownership of Finn Special Steel Oy will be transferred 100% to Veikko Kyllönen. The personnel of Finn Special Steel Oy will be transferred to Miilux Oy as old employees. By this asset deal both parties can focus on their core competencies.
Miilux Oy will diversify its steel service center business which allows Miilux Oy to offer customers a wider range of complete finished structural and abrasion resistant steel solutions ready to be installed.
In the future, Finn Special Steel Oy will focus on global marketing and selling abrasion resistant steel and steel products produced or supplied by Miilux Oy. In addition, Finn Special Steel Oy will continue the steel import business.
Miilumachine Oy has appointed Mr. Kari Vimpari as Workshop Director, starting
from 1.3.2018. Kari has earlier worked 20 years in several positions in JMC Engine Oy.
Kari will lead and develop Miilumachine Oy’s workshop business and he is reporting
to Pekka Miilukangas, Managing Director of Miilukangas Group.

Tevo Oy has acquired the entire business of PK-Tekniikka Oy on January 5, 2018 from PK-Tekniikka’s estate.
PK-Tekniikka is focused on the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and on-site machining. Services are utilised by power plants, the steel industry, the wood and paper industry as well as the processing industry both in Finland and abroad. PK-Tekniikka has also a versatile and high quality range of coatings for different surface.
By acquisition maintenance services of Tevo Group are strengthened by local machining and coating services. Acquired equipment and good workmanship will support the Tevo Group's global services for all sectors of industry.
Miilukangas has invested in new machinery which strengthens capabilites in SteelDone Group.

We are happy to inform that Telatek Oy has become a new share holding company in SteelDone Group and thus significantly strengthening Group’s welding and machining resources.
Telatek Oy is specialized in sheet metal and welding work of large and demanding steel structures. Using additives and parameters defined with welding procedure tests, they continuously weld products with large material thicknesses, and they are used to handling very large objects in our production. Telatek Oy’s workshop located in Taivalkoski, Finland is perfectly suited for handling large pieces. Their lifting capacity is 2 x 63 tn and 3 x 20 tn; a maximum of 126 tn. In addition, they have spacious halls and versatile machine capacity at their disposal. Therefore, Telatek Oy can offer versatile and highly refined machine engineering work. Their special competence is the handling of different materials and combining them. They are able to manufacture products of steel, steel-cast and aluminium.
Telatek Oy belongs to Telatek Group together with Telatek Services which provides full range of installation, overhaul and quality control services.

Tevo Oy has developed cost efficient option for steel propellers. As a result of massive product development project Tevo Oy is capable to desing and produce optimal bronze propeller construction for 1A Super (PC-6) class.
Efficient and noise-optimized bronze propeller designed for 1A Super class has been verified within product development project in full-scale tests in northern part of Baltic Sea, in hard ice conditions of Bay of Bothnia.
In full-scale tests the durability of bronze propeller produced by Tevo was proven in arctic ice conditions. Also was pointed out that with right design the propeller can be optimized by emphasizing either ice features or energy efficiency.
High quality material used and processed by Tevo together with high level of design and optimization competence enabled development of this high quality end product for arctic conditions.
Tevo Oy’s Propeller Plant located in Turenki, Finland has 65 years experience with more than 4000 delivered bronze propellers. Now Tevo Oy is strongly investing in their own product development. This product development project was carried out together with two internationally valued experts in arctic shipping – Aker Arctic Technology Oy and VTT Oy (Technical Research Centre of Finland).

IKP’s strong role in Äänekoski bioproduct factory construction project:
IKP has supplied to Äänekoski bioproduct factory construction project large, process technology-related equipment requiring high dimensional accuracy. Delivered equipment includes 900-ton debarking drums and a large-scale chip silo.
For IKP Service Oy (Installation and maintenance company of IKP Group) project will last at least for a year. The main phase is construction of a 2000-ton lime kiln and accessory equipment.
